EPA Method 5 Sampling
We utilize uniquely custom designed testing equipment that increases accuracy and efficiency. Technology is the basis by which Elemental Air conducts source testing. We use fully automated digital sampling systems for our sample collection. We conduct EPA, CARB, SCAQMD, and ASTM sample methods. We routinely perform Method 5x, 6, 23, 26, 26A, 29, 30B, 201A, and 202.
FTIR Source Sampling
We have highly skilled FTIR sampling technicians. Whether it is for compliance or engineering we can perform published EPA Methods. We have experience performing a large set of chemical compounds for HAPS determination, HCl removal, and for Ammonia slip analysis.
Portable Gas Chromatograph
Elemental Air has portable Gas Chromatography services for compliance testing. We utilize a unique EPA approved method for total non-methane and non-ethane hydrocarbon analysis. First the GC separates the methane and the ethane from the other hydrocarbons before the remainder is analyzed. We have the capability to provide on-site TO-15 analysis, ppb analysis of many compounds. Detectors for analysis is PID, FID, FPD, and TCD.
3D Flow Compliance and Analysis
Elemental Air has designed an AutoFlow console capable of fully automating EPA Methods 2, 2G, 2F, and 2H. The fully digital system provide superior accuracy and consistency. This type of precision works well for conducting Part 75 and Part 60 Relative Accuracy Test Audits (RATA)..
PFAS Testing
PFAS is the hot new topic people are concerned with. Elemental Air has fine tuned our procedures to test the EPA list of PFAS compounds. We heat clean our glassware in a large kiln to bake any PFAS contamination from our equipment. We conduct extensive quality control to ensure the lowest level of background contamination possible to achieve the most accurate results.
RATA Part 60 and 75
why Elemental Air routinely performs gas and flow RATA’s for both part 60 and 75. We are highly experienced and understand the more complex requirements for a Part 75 RATA. We provide XML EDR’s to be included in the primary quarterly reporting. We also can provide ERT filing for those regulations that require that reporting.
